"Eugenio Percossi’s thorny exhibition hints at a number of things. For instance, how convincing a meaningful form can be, even in this day and age. Or how it is no problem to work with aesthetics if you have a reason to do so, as documented by the set of decorative sculptures from the 1930s, each amputated in a different place and complemented by the addition of “prosthetic” thorns that clearly associate the story of the exhibition with human destiny in order to definitively confirm that nothing in the world exists without obstacles, suffering, hard work, and pain."
