In his current series of acrylic paintings, Áron Lőrincz offers the story of a pirate who leaves civilisation, abandons traditional social restrictions and norms, and embarks on an adventure in a colourful and expressive jungle that represents an allegory of the big city. But Lőrincz's neon-green, somewhat self-portrait character is not a romanticised anti-hero. Rather, he is a lovable character who finds joy in ordinary little things, loves art and enjoys life. The author succeeds in creating a playful, yet quirky and surreal atmosphere, not lacking in magical moments.
