Titania Seidl approaches painting intuitively, drawing on her personal experience and knowledge. In her ideologically and visually layered works, she is interested in the relationship between pictorial forms, different visual styles, colour combinations, historical periods and the meaningful connections between the motifs depicted. In her works, she quotes historical antecedents, which she combines with bizarre fragments from various digital and physical sources, while combining them with fragments from his own life. The artist does not offer a linear narrative; rather, we follow a collage of different meanings and plots that combine the past with the present, fiction with reality, and the intimate with the public. Hints of natural elements, fragments of human bodies, hands and gestures, symbols of fruits or inspiration from their organic shapes appear on canvases or small wooden panels.
